Amethyste is fresh yet rich and warm on the palate while providing a fine and persistent mousse. Round with red fruit and a touch of Brioche, finishing on a note of citrus peel.
The palate is extremely clean and refreshing with hints of sweet fruits and wild flowers. There is a little tastiness in the finish which leaves a taste of brioche lingering in your mouth. Truly, this bottle is a pleasure to drink.

March 31st 2009 the ceremony of the Gourmets Awards was held in Madrid were Bodegas Ramón Bilbao was awarded Best Winery 2009. It is the only prize in the winery category and the result is made from the votes sent by the readers of the Gourmet Wine Guide. Ramon Bilbao was established in 1924, recently purchase by Diego Zamora this winery with out doubt is producing amazing wines.
This wine has a great balance of lovely citrus fruit and the classic lick of oak,a wine in perfect harmony.
Tempranillo and Grenacha blended together produced from 43 year old vines.This is serious Rioja for the price quality ratio.
Smooth with the classic American oak on the palate, delicious.
Mirto was the Trophy winning wine from the international wine challenge.
One of the most serious rioja's we have tasted.
This is one of our favourite wines, voted the best Ribera wine for this vintage a star in the making.
