What a fantastic month November has been for us. We've been reviewed by lots of press and are popping up in the papers and guides around the country with some great feedback. Ben headed up to Berkshire for the Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards. We were up for the Best Newcomer category which we sadly didn't win but came a close second and was listed as being 'highly commended'. A great achievement for our young team and has helped show all of the hard work has been worth it.

Our Tuesday Steak night is going strong so we are keeping it going throughout December. It's 2 steaks for £20, it's a popular night so make sure you book in advance.

Clinger Farm

The pigs are settling in nicely to their new home on the farm and we're are enjoying every minute spent with them. This month we were visited by Freddy Bird, head chef of Lido in Bristol. He went round with the guns on the Pheasant shoot and foraging with Tom up around the pig pen, managing to bag himself an impressive truffle. At the end of the day Freddy cooked us up a fantastic Pheasant recipe using the Pheasant from the shoot, and a simple scramble eggs and truffle recipe. Have a look for yourself here

Mo-vember
