We are nearly there, just on the finishing touches now. We are really pleased with how The Old Inn has come together; it's looking & feeling great. Ben and Tyrone have been doing a first rate job in the kitchen, we feel that the food speaks for itself. We've even had a fresh new look with our new plates that really set the tables off perfectly.

It looks like the word is spreading and we're really looking forward to getting through the next few months and into the summer, we've got some great ideas ahead.

The Old Inn Edition

We have teamed up with our friends at Cheddar Ales to produce an exclusive version of their popular Dark Porter. The Old Inn Edition is brewed to our specification giving it a unique flavour, it goes down a treat with our steaks.

Or why not come on down at lunch time where our head chef Ben has been busy working on some new recipes for the menu. We have a delicious Old Inn Stew, with our very own Old Inn Edition Dark Porter ale

Clinger Farm - view site

We now have our very own Clinger Farm Cider in the fridge; a fantastic accompaniment to our chops. We have also got the Clinger Farm pear and apple juices in if you want a refreshing change. You don't get much more local than this.

Back at Clinger Farm they are busy working on establishing a vegetable patch which will supply the pub with most of its vegetable needs

Mitch Tonks Event

We had our first big event with celebrity chef Mitch Tonks & wine expert Tim McLaughlin-Green. It was a great success, lots of fun and laughter with some fantastic food, Mitch really pulled out all of the stops and prepared an amazing 7 course menu. Tim did what he does best, wine! He was going from table to table educating and discussing all things wine.

We will be looking at doing similar events in the not too far distant future, so watch this space.

Mother's Day

We'll be celebrating the most important people on this planet on the 14th March. Our usual menu will be available with a special treat for all you mothers out there. Treat your mother to a special day at The Old Inn.
