Clinger Farm
Freddy Bird, Head Chef at the Lido in Bristol has been back down the farm after visiting us last month. This time he had his eye on six of our piglets. Driving down in the freezing ice roads with a newly converted pig removal van, then trekking across snow filled fields, we had fun scooping six plump piglets out from their 7 acre pen in the woods. Not the easiest of tasks in the cold snow.
He has already put a few suckling pigs on the menu and the feedback has been excellent, everyone can't seem to get enough of them, fantastic flavour and texture. It must be all the acorns and mushrooms they're eating up at the farm! Video coming soon! |
