What a cold last few months we've had. It hasn't stopped our wood fired oven from roaring though. We've been busy catering for large Christmas Parties of festive frolickers and been having a great time doing it. The atmosphere has been electric and has raised spirits during these cold times. Ben's festive menu has been very well received.

We're looking forward to the New Year where we will be holding more events. We are just confirming details at the moment so be sure to keep an eye on the website over January for more information. All we can say at this point is that the food will be fantastic and the wine will be flowing for sure.

We are open as normal over Christmas with the exception of Christmas Day night and Boxing Day night, when we will be closed.

Clinger Farm

Freddy Bird, Head Chef at the Lido in Bristol has been back down the farm after visiting us last month. This time he had his eye on six of our piglets. Driving down in the freezing ice roads with a newly converted pig removal van, then trekking across snow filled fields, we had fun scooping six plump piglets out from their 7 acre pen in the woods. Not the easiest of tasks in the cold snow.

He has already put a few suckling pigs on the menu and the feedback has been excellent, everyone can't seem to get enough of them, fantastic flavour and texture. It must be all the acorns and mushrooms they're eating up at the farm! Video coming soon!

New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve is kicking off at the Old Inn, which is sure to be a fantastic night. We have our normal menu available with a glass of prosecco on arrival. It's sure to be a lovely atmosphere to see the New Year in so please call 01963 32002 to book yourself a space.
