When will the rain stop? It's been a pretty wet August all in all but it hasn't stopped us down at The Old Inn. Our tuesday steak nights have been really well received and keeping Ty and Ben on their toes in the kitchen. We've been looking forward at potential events we could run and will be announcing some soon, so keep an eye on the events page of our website.

So it might be a little early to ask but we thought there's no harm in being prepared. Who thinks we should open on Christmas day? Our exclusive wine list will soon be available for you to buy wines to take home. Remember many of our wines are exclusive to us. You won't find them in the shops or supermarkets. We source our wines direct from the vineyards. Many of the wines are in limited supply and often only a specific number are produced every year. We will have a retail wine list available; just ask at the Pub for more details.

Clinger Farm Harvest Festival Sept 04

Half price tickets available with every meal at The Old Inn, just ask when you receive your bill

We are supporting the first Clinger Farm Harvest Festival this year on Saturday September 4th. We are running the bar and also the BBQ area. It is set to be a top day so be sure to get a ticket, available from www.clingerfarm.co.uk or The Old Inn, ask behind the bar.

This year’s festival is a family friendly event. Kicking off from 14:00 we have live bands booked to play throughout the day until midnight. There are children's activities of which many are free, farm animals and great food and drink, be sure to check out Mitch Tonks seafood stew.

We have lots of local acts booked and the Bob Knight band headline the show. We will also be auctioning off various items from meals at the pub to a helicopter ride, to raise money for Julia's House children's hospice.

The Old Inn Birthday Celebration

What a great success our birthday celebration was! Lots of fun and laughter echoed around the Old Stables restaurant area. The wine was flowing at a steady rate and the special menu Benny had put together with the suckling pig stealing the show was a real treat. Thank you to everyone who came along. After a successful days fishing off the coast of Poole we go down onto the beach to prepare an extremely simple Mackerel. Go and get your rod out, head down the beach and catch some fish, you can't beat the flavour of a fresh fish!
